He is an experienced trial lawyer with a primary focus on the representation of oil and gas mineral owners and landowners in the protection of their rights. He also represents clients through civil litigation, real estate transactions, title opinion, estate planning, and real property issues.
After graduating from Clinton High School in 2000, Anthony graduated from Oklahoma Christian University where he was a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society, National Dean's List and Chancellor's List. While at Oklahoma Christian, he was selected to participate in the prestigious American Studies Program in Washington, D.C., before graduating summa cum laude in 2004 with a B.S. in Governmental and Legal Studies and a minor in Bible.
Anthony graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2007. While at OCU, he also participated in Phi Alpha Delta and an international summer study program in Granada, Spain.
Anthony has over a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on litigation involving lease cancelation and royalty deductions, oil and gas lease and sales negotiations, surface damages, and pipeline easement negotiations. He was also an Assistant District Attorney for two and a half years, which provided invaluable trial experience in addition to his previous experience in medical malpractice defense and civil litigation.
Anthony is involved in many charitable and civic activities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Clinton Chamber of Commerce and is the Incoming Chair for the 2019-2020 fiscal year. He also serves as a board member of the Cordell Christian Home and as attorney-coach for the Clinton High School Mock Trial team. Anthony and his wife, Rachel, are active members of the Clinton Church of Christ where Anthony serves as a deacon over Youth Ministry and Education. Anthony and Rachel have three children, Quinn, Karsten, and Cohen, and when he’s not coaching one of their many sports teams, they spend most of their free time together attending their events and activities, traveling, and with family and friends.
