Successfully added exemption to criminal gambling statute

A client was criticized for a social gaming site they had that was free to play but included a slight element of chance and awarded gift certificates upon completion of certain achievements in the game ... (similar to Candy Crush, Clash of Clans, etc.) We assisted the client in engaging the Attorney General's office and interested parties and shepherded a bill through the legislature to amend the statute to remove any suggestion that the social game was violating the law.
