Sidney attended law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in May 2023. Before law school, she attended Gonzaga University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism while also earning her Minor in Solidarity & Social Justice. Sidney is licensed to practice law in the state of Oklahoma.

Sidney is a forward-thinking attorney with a diverse legal background. Before joining the Oklahoma City divorce and family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, Sidney most recently worked as an Associate Attorney, where she drafted and filed motions and briefs in both state and federal courts. She developed case strategies tailored to clients’ needs and represented clients in Oklahoma state court hearings. She also conducted legal research and prepared legal memorandums on novel legal issues, contributing to case strategies for multiple managing attorneys handling a high volume of cases. Previously, she interned at the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority, where she corresponded with attorneys and license holders on legal questions, tracked ongoing issues in Excel, and conducted legal research relevant to the agency. Before that, she interned at a legal aid organization, assisting with eviction prevention efforts, conducting intake calls, and drafting legal documents. She also had an internship focused on trusts and estates law, where she organized documents for a pro bono bankruptcy case.
