Roland V. Combs, III

Roland V. Combs, III Esq. is the founder and CEO of The Law Firm of Roland V. Combs, III and Associates, PLC in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Combs has practiced in various areas of law to include tax, criminal defense, estate planning, immigration and civil rights. In the last five years, his practice has primarily been in the areas of Mortgage Foreclosure Defense and Bankruptcy. Mr. Combs is past presiding Judge of the City of Langston for twelve years. He has held the positions of Administrator of Estate Tax, First Assistant General Counsel and Tax Attorney for the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Mr. Combs has held positions as Internal Revenue Agent, Special Agent, Conferee and Tax Auditor with the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Combs received a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting and Mathematics from Langston University, Langston, Oklahoma. While at Langston, Mr. Combs was the first Langston, Mr. Combs was the first Langston student to successfully complete work as a Student Trainee Accountant with the Internal Revenue Service. He received a Juris Doctor from University of Oklahoma College of Law. While at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Mr. Combs served as President of The Black Law Student Association (BALSA).

Mr. Combs is licensed to practice by the Oklahoma Supreme Court, the Western, Northern and Eastern (Federal) Districts of Oklahoma, 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Tax Court, Department of the Treasury - Internal Revenue Service and Oklahoma Tax Commission.

Mr. Combs is currently an active member of Oklahoma Bar Association (OBA), the Association of Black Lawyers (ABL), and NAACP, Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City, Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. ASCAP and Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association. Mr. Combs presently serves as Legal Counsel for the United Basketball League (UBL). He is the Founder and CEO of Big Dogg Plus Sports and Entertainment Company. He is Vice-President and Board Member for The America's Challenger Foundation, Inc. of Oklahoma City. He is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City, Class IX. He has held certification as a Player Agent for the National Basketball Association.

In his current practice, Mr. Combs has represented and counseled hundreds of people in Mortgage foreclosure Defense. He has been lead counsel representing a married couple in over twenty-five fraudulent mortgage cases.
