Michael Whiting

All of my life people (family, friends, strangers, etc.) have told me that I should get involved in the practice of law and/or politics. I think even from a very young age I displayed a passion for the law and more importantly, justice. Growing up my family moved a lot and I believe that is what formed my ability to engage with any type of person on any number of topics.

I have had experience growing up in big cities like New York and Chicago as well as quite suburbs and rural communities such as St. Louis, Springfield (MO and IL) and now my hometown of Oklahoma City. With that said, I have lived in the State of Oklahoma for the longest of all of the places I have lived and this is truly becoming my home. This is where I attended and graduated law school (Oklahoma City University in 2015), took and passed the bar exam and most importantly, met my beautiful wife Katherine. 

Ever since I graduated law school and passed the bar exam, I have been learning and grinding, trying to become the absolute best legal advocate I can be to best serve our family of clients. I take great pride in being able to fight for those who are caught up in the legal system and I cherish every opportunity that I have to learn and grow as an attorney and legal professional.

A lot of people become disillusioned with the practice of law when they expect a passionate "crime drama" type lawyer that they see on TV with passion and bravado, then wind up witnessing a slow and boring paper pusher that drags his feet as he timidly works out an agreement with the prosecutor... I like to think that I have and will continue to provide the type of legal representation made for cinema.
