Biography
Clint James is a criminal defense attorney dedicated to defending individuals accused of crimes in state and federal courts throughout Oklahoma. His practice includes criminal trials and appeals, expungements, and civil rights litigation. He has represented clients facing charges ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony offenses, including drug crimes, sex crimes, violent offenses, and murder.
Before joining the Wyatt Law Office, Clint was a partner at The Firm on Baltimore in Tulsa from 2014 to 2017, where he represented clients in criminal and civil litigation in the Tulsa area and in federal courts throughout Oklahoma. Previously, he was an associate at Graham, Allen & Brown, where he handled criminal cases as well as civil rights, divorce, business entity, and business litigation matters.
Since 2008, Clint has worked with numerous experienced Oklahoma attorneys in various capacities, including as a paralegal, legal intern, and attorney. His experience includes significant criminal, civil rights, and federal matters. He has appeared before the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board in more than fifty cases and has obtained favorable recommendations and pardons for his clients.
Clint has been recognized by Oklahoma Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Criminal Defense Law and was selected as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer for Criminal Defense Law in 2024. He earned his B.S. from Oklahoma State University in 2008, majoring in Agricultural Economics and Political Science, and his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2012.
He is admitted to practice in Oklahoma state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma, and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Cut from a different cloth
First attorney I've ever retained who actually cared about his client. He cares whether the outcome of your case benefits you as apposed to that of most lawyers how much money they can separate you from. He's smart, quick, and talented. I would recommend him to anyone.
