DeeAnn L. Germany

DeeAnn L. Germany joined the firm of Burch & George in 1998 immediately after receiving her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and has spent her entire legal career with this firm. In 2011, she became a partner and the firm changed its name to Burch, George & Germany.

Her practice has maintained its same essential focus over the years: solely plaintiff’s work, representing individuals in cases involving medical-device and products liability, motor-vehicle accidents, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, and breaches of contracts.

In 2007, Germany recorded a $1,025,000 verdict against an orthopedic medical-device manufacturer after a femoral stem broke in a hip replacement for her client.

Early in her career, Germany and future law partner Derek K. Burchtried a slip-and-fall case that resulted in a verdict of more than $1 million for a young man who was severely and permanently injured.

She also recently negotiated a just settlement on behalf of the family of a three-year-old girl who was killed in an accident with a tractor-trailer that jackknifed when its driver was going too fast on a two-lane country road.

In representing injured people and their families, Germany finds that compassion is often in short supply with defendant companies.
