Melissa Purvis

Melissa is a lifetime Oklahoman. She was born and raised in Yukon, Oklahoma where she graduated from Yukon High School in 1993. Melissa received her bachelors degree from Mid-America Christian University in 1999 with a major in business management and ethics and a minor in theology. She soon began her lifelong dream of becoming an attorney by attending Oklahoma City University School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctorate. Prior to attending law school and joining our team, Melissa was a small business owner in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Melissa and her husband owned several businesses in the areas of real estate, movie rentals, and oil field services. It was during these ventures as a business owner that Melissa found her calling from God to help individuals and business owners with their tax problems Melissa joined the Law Office of Roderick H. Polston, P.C. directly after taking the Oklahoma Bar Exam. She feels amazingly blessed to be a part of such an energetic and caring group of individuals where "every person on our team truly feels that changing the lives of others can change ours in unexpected ways."
