Kaitlyn Allen is absolutely amazing. although we didn't get everything I wanted, she got it to where I got more than I had and that is absolutely fine by me for the time being. she is very professional and will be blunt yet compassionate about the issues at hand. she had everything compiled into fold...ers for my case going into mediation and helped me reach a very doable agreement without having to go to trial but we were prepared for trial if it would have went that far. thank you so much to her and I would definitely recommend her!

We were hoping to obtain guardianship of our granddaughter whose home life was pretty darned abusive. Though we knew that selecting a "big city lawyer" to represent out-of-staters in a rural county setting might not play well at all with the courts, there can be no doubt that we made the right decis...ion when we went with Allyson Dow. Allyson's apparent youth took us by surprise. But don't let the youthful face and voice fool you. This is an attorney who knows her stuff. We believe we were right on track to succeed in bringing our granddaughter home to live with us. Every time we asked for something that was reasonable, Allyson went full steam ahead to fight for us on that issue. When the parents would not abide by the court ordered visitation and the guardian ad litem's recommendations, Allyson did not hold back. She fought and argued and threatened the other attorneys and their clients until they responded in accordance with the recommendations given by the child's counselor and the GAL. We were sorely disappointed when we came to the realization that our intervention was causing our granddaughter even more trauma than she'd already experienced and we felt that the best option for her sake was to withdraw from the case. Against the instincts of every attorney out there, Allyson listened to our reasoning and did not pressure us to continue the case which would have stressed our granddaughter beyond her capability to handle the conflict. Everyone involved (counselor, attorney, daughter) was very disappointed, but we all knew it was the right thing to do for our granddaughter's emotional and mental health. We have nothing but the utmost respect and confidence in Allyson and anyone who selects her as their attorney must consider themselves fortunate indeed to have such a capable, confident, able litigator on their side.
