Client lives in Michigan but was previously married in Ontario. Client's Ex had a pension in Ontario, Canada, but the Judgment of Divorce was issued in Michigan. So, the question was fairly straight ... forward: How do we enforce a Michigan Judgment in Ontario, Canada? The answer was far, far more complicated: Treaties, Long-Arm statutes; and a lot of research later, we found our answer.
