Case of the Under Cover Cop
N/AOUTCOME: My defense was that the police officers did properly identify themselves as law enforcement officers therefore the prosecutor failed to prove the essential elements of intention to harm/kill law enforcement officers.
My client was in an upper floor apartment in a major urban city at night. His partner was on the street with two guys and yelled to my client, "shoot these *%##!" My client shot out over the guys head ... s. Turns out the two guys with his partner were undercover police. My client and his partner the co-defendant were both criminally charged with intent to murder the police.
