Christopher John Bergin

I am a jury trial attorney admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma in December of 1989. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and my law degree from Loyola University of Chicago, I originally practiced in Chicago, Illinois from 1983 until moving to Oklahoma. I continue to maintain my Illinois license to practice. I am also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Seventh and Tenth United States Courts of Appeals and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma. I have tried more than 30 civil trials and taken more than one thousand depositions. I have eight reported Appellate cases and have participated in more than one hundred administrative hearings in my capacity as Deputy General Counsel for the Oklahoma Health Care Authority from 2006 to 2013. For seven years, while in private practice, I served as an officer and Board Member of the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association. I have also taught Trial Practice for the American Bar Association (ABA), The American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA) the Oklahoma Bar Association (OBA) and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). I received my training and certification as a trial practice instructor from NITA in 2000. I have prepared pleadings, motions and briefs, and appeared in State and Federal Courts continuously in my 30 years of practice.
