I hired mr Laws to represent me on a criminal drug case of which I am not guilty. I told him specifically in the beginning that I wanted to go to trial and he tried to get me to take a plea. His receptionist told one of my character witnesses that he really should not get involved with my case, it mi...ght disgrace his family name. When I went to him with this he totally disregarded what I had to say. Then his secretary argued with me about the same character witnesses address, she said the address I gave her was wronge. She then emailed my girlfriend ( not even to me) a copy of this gentleness last years tax records. Needless to say he was not real happy about this. Then because I would not take a plea agreement he filed a motion to quit as my attorney and was granted this. He kept the entire $ 7,500 dollars that I paid him. Then 3 weeks later I saw him at the courthouse he openly laughed at me. I feel that he is a very poor excuse for a lawyer and I wanted to write this to keep someone else from being taken as I was....
