Haley D. Smith

I am the associate attorney at Owens Mixon Heller. P.A. in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I grew up in the Northeast Arkansas area. After graduating law school and passing the bar, I was offered a position at a law firm in Searcy, Arkansas practicing family law. I practiced Central Arkansas for 2 years. While practicing in Searcy, I had a case on which the managing partner of OMG Law Firm was opposing counsel. I casually mentioned that I was from the Jonesboro area and that I missed being here. When our case was over, OMG's managing partner offered me the opportunity to come on as an associate attorney and return home to Northeast Arkansas, so I jumped at the chance. I started working for OMG on December 1, 2017. I love being back in my hometown and truly enjoy the practice of law in this district. My focus is primarily family law--divorce, child custody modification, child support, guardianships, and adoptions.

On a personal note, I am happily married to my childhood sweetheart as of September of 2018. I enjoy cooking, traveling to new places, and spending time with my dogs Annabell, Riley and new puppy Delphie.
