J. Shane Cox

Shane Cox is a founding Member of Rooster Law Firm, PLLC. Shane’s practice encompasses a broad range of legal matters with particular emphasis in the areas of probate, gurardianships, and bankruptcy protection. He has represented clients in areas of the law including estate planning, intellectual property, contract disputes, divorce, and collection matters. Shane attended and graduated from the William H. Bowen School of Law while simultaneously working as at a local bankrupcy firm. Before entering law school, Shane worked in the mental health profession while attending college. He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he graduated with honors. Shane is an active member of his church and participates in community-oriented events. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and Debtor-Creditor Bar of Central Arkansas. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas, U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas. Shane is also an adjunct professor at the William H. Bowen School of law.
