Dos Not Review Evidence!!!!!

Ignored the facts in the case and did not interview all parties to obtain a clear view of the best interest of a teen female. Wrote her recommendations based on false evidence. Never even went to see the living conditions of the other parent/minor child involved.

The attorney ad litem's role is to advocate for the best interests of the child, and all decisions are made with careful consideration of the relevant facts and legal standards. It is important to note that, while the attorney ad litem is required to review evidence and interview relevant parties, the process of gathering information is complex and may involve a range of factors that contribute to the final recommendations. The attorney ad litem is committed to acting to ensure that the best interests of the child are represented. Additionally, in custody disputes, one of the parents may feel dissatisfied with the recommendations made by the attorney ad litem. This reaction is not unusual and does not reflect the diligence of the attorney or the investigation conducted throughout the case. The goal of the attorney ad litem is always to provide a recommendation that best serves the child's interests, based on the information available at the time.

Amazing Lawyer

Dusty was amazing from the very start. They tell you from the very first email how to contact them. From if it’s a little thing or if it is an urgent thing. You know how to contact them. Dusty and Britt are a great team. They work very hard to do what is best for the child. (If there is a child invol...ved) EVERY email and phone call was returned. She checked on me and my family between court dates. And was very informative about the law and the case. They truly do care about you and your family. They are also very down to earth people and I never feel intimidated. We have been truly blessed to have her as our lawyer!

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. It means a great deal to me to know that you felt supported and informed throughout the process. Britt and I work hard to ensure our clients feel confident, heard, and cared for, and we’re truly grateful that you had such a positive experience with us. It was an honor to assist you and your family, and I'm glad we were able to be part of your journey. Your trust in us is something we value deeply, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to have worked on your case. If you ever need anything in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Wishing you and your family all the best moving forward!

Terrible lawyer

Does not respond or fight for your case. She will ignore your calls and not do what is best for you. Do not recommend her. She will lie and gaslight you into doing things that aren’t good for your case. She might withdraw from your case, because that is what she did for me and there was no message ab...out her withdraw or a reason. She will do what is best for the other side and might listen to the other clients lawyer your going against. Hired an attorney for my daughter as well and it made it worse and was treated like crap. Don’t hire her.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
