Michael Kelly Cornett

Michael Cornett joined ILP+ Arkansas in June 2015. Michael’s area of practice focuses on probate, post-mortem administration, and estate planning. Prior to joining ILP+, Michael worked with Ralph G. Brodie for nearly 20 years.  A graduate of Hendrix College, Michael has a B.A in English (1985) and attended Syracuse University College of Law where he graduated with a Juris Doctor  in International Law (1988).

Michael advises clients with respect to a wide range of issues relating to wills and trusts, estate planning, trust administration, and probate. As the Funding Coordinator, Michael oversees the transfer of assets from an individual’s name to the name of their trusts. The primary goal of funding is to avoid probate and to protect a client’s privacy and to reduce post-mortem expenses.
