I have court tomorrow and no lawyer. I plan on pleading not guilty and asking for a lawyer. Is there anyone that can help me?

Some lawyer in or near Marshall County can help you. If you can't afford one, the court will appoint the public defender.

Sounds like a failure to pay warrant, which you should take care of ASAP.

Since charges were dismissed, probably. You should contact the local teacher's union.

The question includes a possible double jeopardy issue: "it did go to court." You should contact the DA where it happened.

My husband doesn't remember writing a bad check back in 1999 in Texas. But in Idaho now and warrant for arrest.

First, a court might find it hard to believe he could write a check that never resulted in a deduction of the full amount from his checking account...

Why file a motion? Got on the docket and show the judge your papers? You'd be better off with a lawyer there.

If its federal, have him write to the court and complain. A new lawyer might get appointed.
