Deborah Suzanne Denton

Deborah S. Denton was born and raised in Lee's Summit, Missouri. After high school, she attended Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, on a Dean's Academic Scholarship.

 

While at Westminster, Debbie majored in Political Science and obtained minors in German and Dance.

 

After graduating from Westminster in 1994, Debbie attended law school at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and later transferred to the University of Arkansas, Little Rock School of Law. During her third year, she was selected to be a member of the National Competitive Trial Team. Debbie graduated from UALR School of Law in 1997 and was admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 1997.

 

She is licensed to practice in Arkansas, The United States District Court for the Eastern & Western Districts of Arkansas, and the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

 

She is a member of the American, Arkansas, and Pulaski County Bar Associations.

 

Debbie has an AV Martindale-Hubbell rating, which is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. She is also a Fellow in Litigation Counsel of America, an honorary society recognizing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. She was selected a Rising Star in the area of Personal Injury Defense; General by Mid South Super Lawyers in 2010 and 2011.

 

Debbie has tried jury trials in both state and federal courts in Arkansas with success and has argued before the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis, Missouri.
