The only reason this man is getting one star is because no stars was not an option. My dad paid him $900 cash (he is old school and a very trusting man) to file for a divorce in March of 2020. After several emails and text messages, my dad finally got ahold of the papers he (Tom) had drawn up in Sept...ember of 2020. None of the dates were right, he stated my dad was asking to be paid child support (he wasn't) AND he had to find a notary and go with my stepmother to sign the papers (in March of 2021!). Tom never asked any personal information, e.g. date they were married, how long they had been living separate, birthdays, etc., and never paid anyone to serve the papers. He gave us the run around for well over a year, and only after I threatened him with filing a complaint with the Supreme Court of Arkansas did he start moving forward on the case. He had to turn it over to another attorney two weeks ago, but gave no reason why. This man is a crook, do NOT waste your money on him because he will take it and run. As of today, my parents are still not divorced and it has been 1 year and 3 months since he was paid.
