Howard Chadwick Yates

Horrible Incompetent, we hired Mr. Yates for a child custody case in Polk County. During the case another family member from the opposing side filed a emergency custody he never even told us. We found out from another lawyer when we decided to seek a second opinion. (court records can be viewed by la...wyers on the computer) My son was consided to have failed a drug screen he didn't even know about but court records show Mr. Yates acted on the behalf of my son he never said a word. He had chances to move the case forward more timely when the opposing side asked for more time because they did not have a lawyer he simply agreed knowing full well we had to drive 7 hours for court. He always rushes you off of the phone. (after you pay the retainer) In about 15 minuets the new lawyer we hired told a lot more about our case. Maybe Mr. Yates would be a decent lawyer for DUI or less serious domestic situation. Ms. Lisa works for Mr. Yates and is very very nice. I don't just leave a bad review so easily because you are effecting how people make a living but the thing that drove me is that people are going to spend hard earned money to hire this man and he simply does not know family law very good.
