Hired for my husband's disability. After first denial she appealed. After appeal she sent a letter stating it would be her last appeal. After waiting a yr & not hearing from her again, we went by the office. We were told she had not worked out of that office for a long time. She had decided to sole...ly be a judge. Feeling this did not bode well for us, I started calling to get our info back from her. She'd say she'd have it copied & get back to us, but never did. After numerous attempts, we had to find someone who knew her office & went there to get our info. During this time she repeatedly told me to go back & refile from the beginning date. Of course the SS office said that wasn't possible. It was past 60 days inactive. She had to know that considering she was not only a lawyer but also a judge. She let us fall through the cracks & cost him a huge amount in back pay since this spanned a 5 yr period from beginning to our now starting over.
