Lazy, laid back messy do not choose this attorney

Unorganized Yes a family man but way to laid back Not serious.enough he's always got paper scattered all over his desk Which should be put up in a file in a safe Secure place were other clients can not see in fact one time when I went in for a consultation and when I left I accidently grabbed... someone's lease rental agreement along with my stuff Bc his table I sat at papers all over the place. I had him on several cases and one got dropped bc the judge required it bc he went behind my back and talked to my ex and he had proof I don't think the judge likes him bc when I was in his office the judge called Him personally and told him to get his dog of 4 that hangs in his office with him back in his office and off the streets of the Benton court house And you have to call him every week to remind him what.to.do and of course he says he's working on it but he just tells you that to back off His family practice has gotten worse thru the years!

Do NOT use this lawyer

I hired this lawyer to reconcile a simple issue. He charged me $1000 and made me sign a contract. To my knowledge, he did nothing address the issue. He would not answer calls or return them. He “did not get” emails I sent him. His lack of action continued to the point that the facts of “my case” were... no longer relevant or accurate. He then refused to return my money and he still to this day refuses to provide one piece of documentation of any kind to show what my money was used for (what he did to earn it). I would highly discourage any person who is considering hiring this lawyer from doing so. There are plenty of other lawyers who are competent and trustworthy out there.

He is either lazy, incompetent or both

I asked him to consider representing my husband in a probate issue - my husband was not keen to use him from knowing him as a Director at the AR Board of Realtors. I was busy working on 1 aspect of the case and when I asked him about anything else he emailed me - which I've kept all the emails to bac...k this up - that the other side was in default and not to worry. Needless to say, the other side was not in default and he never even brought up the issue of having the Personal Representative removed - which is what my husband wanted done. All he was concerned about was how much money he was going to make as he insisted on being paid the same as a very well respected long-time excellent attorney my husband had used multiple times. But, he did not know what he was doing, didn't know the law or have a copy of it with him when the judge asked him a simple question about the law. He was too lazy and too incompetent for me to ever recommend - which hurts my heart greatly as I considered him a friend before this.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
