Edward Westley Colbert Jr.

Attorney Edward Colbert was born and raised in Colorado Springs and lives with his wife in Natchitoches, Louisiana. At the University of Colorado, he majored in political science and graduated with honors. Following his passion for law, attorney Edward Colbert earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Notre Dame Law School. He has served as assistant public defender with the Office of the Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orlando. In addition, he is a former Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Commodities Futures Trading Commission and former Director of the Legal Information Assistance at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Attorney Edward Colbert is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Louisiana Bar Association.
