Edward E. “Ted” Roberts was born in Baton Rouge, LA and raised in Alexandria, LA. He attended Louisiana State University for his undergraduate work, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Ted decided to pursue a career as an attorney after he was inspired by his father, who is also a lawyer and judge. Before law school, Ted worked at Pinecrest State School for special needs children and adults, and while in law school he worked at several law firms and regularly did pro bono work. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1998. After law school, Ted worked as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Allen Krake in the 35th Judicial District Court.
Ted began his practice with Neblett, Beard & Arsenault in 1999. Ted’s primary areas of practice at the firm are Worker's Compensation and personal injury. Ted is passionate about his work, and when asked why he chose Worker’s Compensation, Ted said, “I love taking the burden of dealing with insurance companies away from injured workers.”
Ted is married to Kimberly Martinez Roberts and they have two sons, Edward E. Roberts, IV and David Emile Roberts. The family enjoys travelling together, and Ted plays golf and hunts in his spare time. He also loves to watch his children play sports.
