Nothing is as professionally satisfying as having the privilege of personally working alongside clients who have sought my counsel, experience and expertise to explain options and map out strategies to effectively and efficiently accomplish their goals. To work with individuals or businesses "the right way" toward a positive and satisfying desired result with respect to which we can all be proud, makes the practice of law truly rewarding.

To discuss with people their goals and dreams, then work with them on how best to accomplish those dreams is an honor. It’s especially gratifying to do so by helping create or grow a family through adoption. To be able to draw on my many years of experience handling hundreds of adoptions to successfully shepherd folks through the sometimes challenging processes involved in all the various kinds of adoption, private or agency, intrafamily or international, open or closed, or an in-state or inter-state adoption is a joy. It’s a privilege to interact with prospective adoptive parents and birth parents, and then ultimately put the bow on the very special package which is the finalized adoption. Becasue of my years and extensive experience guiding clients in adoption proceedings several years ago I was invited and recognized to be an Adoption Fellow of the international Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys.

Other dreams are realized by facilitating property transactions. Or it may be by helping develop wise plans for the long-range disposition of their property by setting up family business entities, or making advance estate plans, or drafting wills or trusts, counseling individuals and families with respect to succession or probate procedures after the death of a loved one, or assisting with any and all of the myriad other lifetime transactions that all benefit from individualized, experienced counsel and advice.

All such work present opportunities for one-on-one interaction with people who want their business handled by someone who will energetically invest their time in and sincerely care about their affairs.

This is what first inspired me to want to go into this profession and what motivates me to come in each day and continue to improve my skills and increase my knowledge of the areas in which I have practiced for now nearly 39 years.
