I'm from Texas and received two bogus traffic citations from a small town in Boyce, LA around 2am. Frustrated with the situation, I called around 10 law firms around Baton Rouge and New Orleans to get my traffic ticket appealed, and no firm would take me on. The lawyers would say "it's easier to just... pay it and move on" or they would charge ridiculous retainers (in the $2500s+) for two stop sign tickets. Emily did so well on my case! It only took two weeks! And would have taken only a week, but we were waiting for the court judge! She was able to get some things that I was worried about dismissed and I was able to pay a lower fine. Not to get personal but my ticket was $500 and it was lower to $200+!...!! If you are looking for a person with great communication skills she is your woman! She offers text, email, and phone communication if you are as busy as me with work you’ll appreciate that a lot! She provides you with great details about your case and is extremely understanding! As a POC (person of color) finding the right attorney can be a tough situation.
