Troy D Morain

A lifelong Baton Rougean, Troy Morain is enjoying his 30th year of representing the injured and their families throughout the state of Louisiana.

Troy’s core beliefs’ revolve around personal responsibility and accountability, so it is no small wonder that he has time and again successfully won verdicts and settlements for the injured against those responsible for horrible 18 wheeler wrecks, concrete truck negligence, automobile wrecks, as well as any act that causes harm to another.

From Ruston to Fourchon, Lake Charles to Pascagoula and all points in between, Troy has earned the respect of the courts by diligently representing his clients in order to maximize their recovery.

Having graduated from Central High School Troy went on to earn a political science degree from LSU. After graduation from Southern University Law Center in 1988, Troy has practiced continuously in Baton Rouge representing clients in City Courts, District Courts, Appellate Courts, LA Supreme Court, Federal Courts, Bankruptcy Courts as well as Administrative Law Courts and Local Tribunals.

There is nothing Troy loves more than spending time with his family, often at their camp on Grand Isle. He is married to the former Suzanne Guidry of Cut Off, La. and has two of the “GREATEST” children in the world(Troy’s words) in their son John Morgan and daughter Sarah. When not on the water fishing the Gulf of Mexico, Troy can be found in his Grand Isle kitchen cooking for his family and most of the neighborhood…the bigger the better.
