Mrs. Derren and associates are an amazing bankruptcy attorney law firm. I’m so glad I chose them to represent me. They are so easy to work with and made sure I was well organized and I had everything I needed to file for bankruptcy and to get my case resolved. Mrs derren and her office is very detail...ed and vey on top of everything. I really appreciate everything they did for me and they answered every single question I had and made sure I felt comfortable talking to my trustee and I was very prepared for the trustee call. I highly recommend them.

I consulted with Derren about filing bankruptcy. I received a package in which I was to fill out. I later went in to discuss the package with the paralegal and paid the $500 fee. I was told by the paralegal that I was lacking information. So she gave me an additional list of documents I needed to bri...ng. By this time, I decided that I did not want to file. So I informed Derren that I would not file. She said she’d bill me out and send me a refund. Well, rather that send me a refund she billed ridiculous amounts for literally doing nothing. $95 for the less than 2 minute phone call to tell her that I was no longer interested in filing and other ridiculous fees. She did absolutely nothing. The bankruptcy was not filed. They were waiting on me to turn in documents. She actually sent me a bill. My first perception of Derren was very cold and not friendly. I was very uncomfortable with her. I didn’t feel that she was a personable person. I don’t doubt that I would owe her something but to literally rob me of the entire $500 by charging ridiculous fees for doing absolutely nothing is very unethical and dishonest. I would not recommend Derren S. Johnson to anyone.
