Biography
Michael deBarros is an associate attorney in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in 2012 and practices in the labor and employment, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation groups. Michael represents and advises clients in a wide variety of cases involving insurance coverage. He also represents employers in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as a Law Clerk to United States District Court Chief Judge Ralph E. Tyson, Middle District of Louisiana and Justice Bess Nkabinde, Constitutional Court of South Africa. While in law school, Michael served as an extern to Justice John L. Weimer, at the Louisiana Supreme Court.
