Biography
Born in Baton Rouge but raised in Lafayette, Jason has been with the firm since 2013. After graduating from St. Thomas More Catholic High School, LSU, and the Southern University Law Center, Jason returned home and began practicing law at Galloway Jefcoat, LLP.
After graduating from LSU, Jason worked for the Louisiana House of Representatives for two legislative Sessions. While in law school, Jason worked at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Louisiana, and also taught constitutional law at Belaire High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
At Galloway Jefcoat, LLP, Jason’s practice focuses primarily on serious personal injury litigation, including automobile accidents and offshore personal injury, including cases falling under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Jones Act. Jason also handles Social Security disability cases, as well as maintaining a succession, wills, and probate practice.
Jason is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the Lafayette Bar Association, the Lafayette Young Lawyer’s Association, the American Association of Justice, the Louisiana Association of Justice, and is licensed to practice before all state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.
In his spare time, Jason coaches a middle school basketball team, enjoys spending time with family and friends, and stays active by playing basketball and football in local recreational leagues.
