Travis Jordan Broussard

Travis Broussard is an associate in the Lafayette firm Durio, McGoffin, Stagg & Ackermann. A 2010 honors graduate of Southern University, Travis practices in the area of commercial litigation, with a focus on complex business torts, breach of contract, and business entity litigation. He has tried cases for both Plaintiffs and Defendants, including matters involving shareholder disputes. His business litigation practice has included shareholder and member withdrawals from the company. His commercial litigation practice has included complex commercial paper matters.

Travis is an active member of his state and local bar associations. He is a member of the Leadership LSBA Class 2013-2014 and serves as an ambassador for the LSBA’s diversity and inclusion platform. On the local level, Travis chairs the Lafayette Young Lawyer’s Annual High School Mock trial competition.

Travis was born and raised in Opelousas, LA and returned to the Acadiana area to practice law in April 2011. When he is not practicing law, Travis enjoys giving back to his community through service projects with various local non-profit organizations.
