Evan Trigg Edwards

Evan T. Edwards is a partner at Edwards-Bowie-Owens and is proud to be born and raised here in Lafayette, Louisiana. He is a graduate of St. Thomas More High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business at Louisiana State University through LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business. Evan received his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center, graduating Cum Laude.

In tune with his desire to serve our community, Evan began private practice immediately following graduation and being sworn into the Louisiana Bar. He ‘hung his own shingle’ to help clients who are in need of a trial attorney and, built his career in the court room.

He is a participating member in the Lafayette Bar Association, Paula K. Woodruff Family Law Section, and American Inn of Court.

When he is not practicing law, Evan enjoys spending time with his wife and children outdoors. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and is a proponent of wildlife and forestry conservation. He typically directs his volunteer efforts to the Louisiana Ecological Forestry Center, focusing on the conservation of Louisiana’s long leaf pine forest and wildlife habitat.
