John P. Guillory

Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, John’s background includes accounting, and he is a C.P.A. He attended Louisiana State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1982. John received his Juris Doctor Degree in 1987 from Tulane Law School, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Order of the Coif. John then clerked for Justice Marcus on the Louisiana Supreme Court in 1988. He has been practicing as a defense attorney handling litigation matters in the areas of insurance, maritime, trucking, transportation, products liability, employment law, oil and gas and commercial.

John is admitted in all State and Federal Courts in Louisiana. He is admitted to practice law in Texas as well as the Southern, Western and Eastern Texas Federal District Courts. He is a member of the Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, Texas and American Bar Associations.
