Lauren Fajoni Bartlett

Lauren Fajoni Bartlett has been an active member of the Florida bar since 2002, and she has been practicing law in Louisiana since 2003. While in Florida, she practiced real estate litigation and, in Louisiana, she maintains an active general litigation defense practice particularly in the areas of:

• Insurance Defense
• Drug and Medical Device
• General Product Liability Litigation
• Contract Disputes

She also maintains an active general commercial litigation practice, which consists of a heavy motion practice, alternative dispute resolution and appellate review. Lauren has also developed a specialized practice in the area of Medicaid law and Medicare/MSP compliance and serves as the firm’s in-house consultant on cases that may be affected by the Medicare Secondary Payer laws, including those involving Medicare beneficiaries or claimants who may require long term future care.

Lauren is an active member in good standing in all state and federal courts in Florida and Louisiana. Her legal experience includes aggressively advocating on behalf of insurance companies, major corporations and small businesses, arbitrating and mediating cases, trial advocacy, appellate practice, and she maintains an active pre- and post-trial motion practice.

She currently holds a position on the steering committee for DRI’s Product Liability Group, and she continues to publish with the Trucking and Insurance Law committees as well.

Lauren is also a regular speaker for the National Business Institute, which organizes CLE programs both on the national and local level. Prior to attending law school, she worked for the Executive Office of the Governor before gaining employment as a freelance political consultant.
