Donald Lucas Hyatt II

With over 19 years experience I have specialized in the practice of employment law, including advice and consulting and litigation for businesses and individuals in the areas of discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, and general employment law compliance and management planning. Additionally, I advise and litigate with regard to employment agreements and professional license issues.

In addition to employment law, I maintain a docket of selected general litigation matters, with an emphasis on intentional tort litigation, including successful representations in RICO, fraud, and defamation cases. Additionally, I handle selected personal injury and domestic cases, both for existing clients and selected new matters.

My appellate practice includes a full range of appellate work, including appeals from my own docket, appeals referred to me by other attorneys for complete handling, and contract work completing briefing or oral argument for appeals which have already been fully briefed.

My criminal practice is limited to selected cases, primarily cases involving complex legal issues, cases intertwined with companion civil litigation, and cases involving extensive expert testimony.
