Thomas Benjamin Delsa

Thomas “Ben” Delsa was born and raised in Louisiana. He attended Jesuit High School in New Orleans. Ben is a proud graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting and graduated magna cum laude, while cheering on the Bobby Bowden led Seminoles.

Ben obtained his law degree from Louisiana State University in 1999. He was inducted into the Order of the Coif honor society and also served as a member of the Louisiana Law Review, where he published an article “E-mail and the Attorney-Client Privilege: Simple E-mail in Confidence.”

After graduating from law school, Ben worked for several insurance defense firms in New Orleans, where his practice included products liability, maritime, premises liability, medical malpractice, and automobile accident cases. After moving to the Northshore in 2005, Ben joined an insurance defense firm specializing in state and federal workers' compensation cases throughout Louisiana. His experience working on behalf of employers and their insurance companies has given him a better understanding of what motivates defendants in Workers' Compensation and personal injury claims.

In 2016, Ben shifted his practice and started representing injured employees, helping them to obtain those benefits they deserve and need. His background give him better insight on how to approach litigation and negotiations on behalf of those injured because he understands an insurer's thought process.

His practice focuses on Workers' Compensation and personal injury. He handles workers' compensation case for workers across the state of Louisiana. Within personal injury, he handles car accident cases, big rig/tractor trailer/18 wheeler cases, and slip and fall/premises liability case.

Ben is licensed to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts.
