I only represent plaintiffs. I don't work for insurance companies and I don't take their cases, so there's nobody on the other side of the table I need to keep happy.

Most of what decides a car accident claim happens in the first two weeks, long before anything is filed. Insurers move quickly to get a recorded statement and lock in a number while you still don't know how badly you're hurt. Truck cases move faster still — a carrier can have an investigator at the scene within hours, and the electronic data showing what the driver actually did is often gone within months unless someone demands it in writing.

Louisiana law has changed substantially. For crashes on or after January 1, 2026, a person found 51% or more at fault recovers nothing at all. That makes the evidence gathered in the first days more important than it has ever been.

I've been licensed since 2003 and I'm admitted in Louisiana, Texas, the District of Columbia and Massachusetts, along with the Fifth Circuit and all three federal district courts in Louisiana.
