Brenda Braud - the attorney I retained who colluded with opposing counsel

I retained Brenda Braud -May 16,2016 to file my petition for divorce , my now ex-husband was at fault for the breakup of the marriage . During this time , our marital home had flooded , my 15 yr old son was hit by a car and suffered a broken neck . She used my mental state to her advantage , Brenda ...continually filed same motions to delay proceedings ,she put me in a position to be harassed by my now exhusband , she even had me obtain my own protection order , (I didn’t know being under so much duress that she had filed mutual restraining orders prior). The day before the P.O. Hearing she stated to me let’s just have it thrown out , she said ,the judge likes me ! On March 20, 2017 Hearing ,only the attorneys went into judge’s chambers even though we were present we stood in the hall of court house . Before Brenda had entered into The judges chambers I had given her two letters that were written by my son’s neck surgeon and also our Psychologist and pictures of my son while he was suffering from a broken neck . Minutes later, she came out of the judges chambers and stated that the judge didn’t think that I was able to afford living in the house, I asked what about the letters from the doctor and the psychologist and the pictures I had given you of Brayden she said anybody could’ve written those letters ! It wasn’t until April 19,2017 , the day of our divorce, that I had found out that the defendant had filed a petition for divorce on January 6 2017 and was awarded a judgement for divorce . Judge Cashe gave me 60 days to vacate marital home . It wasn’t until the following month that Brenda verbally told me that if I was to give her my son and my injury cases that she would appeal judgement , after coercing me into giving her my cases she then wanted paid . Due to the fact that I had no more money, she coerced me into signing my half of a homeowners check that was made out to my husband at the time and me. Brenda had me sign a letter that she typed up on August 18,2017 stating that she had already paid for the appeal , and this was for reimbursement , but coincidentally on the same day , she paid for the appeal at the clerk courts office in cash , later finding out it was for a a phoney appeal. Due to the fact that I couldn’t take any more legal abuse , I moved close to family who lived in Ohio in November of 2017 to protect my son and myself . The same month she had Writtena check to herself of half of that homeowners and the other half to my now ex-husband. I later acquired documents pertaining to my case , proving collusion , Brenda not only withheld evidence on my case but also documents sent by opposing counsel. Even though I no longer live in Tangipahoa Parish I will continue to expose her until she is held accountable for what she has done . Since then I have lost enjoyment of life, Both my son and myself have severe PTSD. The People in positions of power that I believe should’ve helped me turned a blind eye, I will continue to bring awareness due to the fact that I Believe that what she has done to me she’s doing to others also.
