Victoria Taryn Heyer

I was transferred to Victoria Heyer after losing confidence in Cameron Dain Robichaux of Seale & Ross Law Firm in Hammond, La. From the start, I told her that Stephen Daniel Sanders is a lifelong Kentwood, LA resident, that all of his properties are in Kentwood, and that I believed he resided at 7876...6 McElveen Rd in Kentwood. I even provided the Propert Assessor's Report ythat reflected that Sanders was the sole owner of that property. I repeatedly told her — as I had told Robichaux — that Sanders owned property at 78766 McElveen Road, and I even provided a copy of his 2017 loan agreement. Despite having this documentation, no action was taken to verify ownership, enforce liens, or pursue service. My central issue was the missing judgment interest, which is mandatory in both Indiana and Louisiana. Instead of addressing it, Ms. Heyer spent months telling me my judgment had no interest at all, which was not accurate. I also gave her specific information about Sanders’ whereabouts, including his 23 Nov 2024 wedding reception in McComb, MS. She told me they could not serve him there and offered no alternative plan. When I insisted on a joint call with prior attorneys to resolve the interest issue, she cancelled the call, then terminated me as a client. Before firing me, she required me to sign a renewed Louisiana judgment that still omitted all interest, leaving it effectively dead and unenforceable. She then referred me to another firm where the same pattern continued. Based on my experience, Ms. Heyer did not act on documented property information, did not enforce liens, did not pursue service when opportunities existed, and did not provide accurate information about judgment interest. I cannot recommend her for judgment‑enforcement or post‑judgment representation.
