Andrew Lewis Kramer

I was born in Washington, D.C. in 1969, moved to New Orleans in 1986, and never left. I received my B.A. from Tulane University in 1991 and my J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 1994. While in law school, I participated in the Civil Litigation Clinical Program and Inn of Court and was a Fellowship Recipient of the Public Interest Law Foundation in 1992.

Since graduating from law school, I have gained extensive experience in a wide range of litigation matters while working for two boutique litigation firms and a full-service firm in New Orleans. I litigate matters in both federal and state courts in Louisiana and across the nation and have participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations during my career.  Although my practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, I have significant experience in handling a variety of issues such as property rights, contract disputes, property damage, condominium developers and associations, environmental contamination, wrongful death, succession disputes, insurance claims, expropriation/eminent domain, and securities law, among others.  My practice involves both plaintiff and defense work.

I am a past member of the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association and am a frequent lecturer for the National Business Institute.
