A law firm who cares and listens to you!
If we have not already had the pleasure of meeting, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wendy Manard. I am a personal injury lawyer. We have offices in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Santa Monica, California, but we help clients all over the state of Louisiana, Southern California and even in Mississippi. (My associate, Walker Lasiter, is licensed in Mississippi as well as Louisiana.)
I am a native of New Orleans. I have lived in the New Orleans area and the Southern California area most of my life. I am a member of both the California and Louisiana Bar Associations. I double majored at the University of California in Santa Barbara, where I also ran cross country and track. I graduated from Tulane Law School. Before law school, I was a substitute teacher in Santa Barbara, Calfornia, and then went on to be a full time special education public school teacher in the New Orleans area. The first two years of my legal career were focused on child advocacy. I am now a mother to an amazing boy. While I still do pro bono work for abused children, my focus for the last fifteen years has been in helping injured adults and children. I have obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of my clients. When I became a lawyer, I vowed to use my law degree to help people. I feel that a life is best lived if it is spent helping others.
Not only do we help clients in personal injury matters but we also assist clients with their claims against their insurance company due to Hurricane Ida. My associate Walker Lasiter also handles criminal defense in addition to personal injury. Attorney Hannah Beth Salter, who is "of counsel" with our firm handles personal injury and insurance contract disputes (such as Hurricane policy benefit denials.)
I understand that there are a lot of lawyers to chose from and it is our honor to represent you. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to talking with you.
