Haley E Nix

Ms. Nix's practice consists primarily of commercial litigation in Louisiana state and federal courts with a focus on oil and gas and property-related disputes. Ms. Nix has handled a wide variety of contract disputes, property damage claims, insurance coverage disputes, expropriation claims, lender liability defense, trespass claims, unfair trade practices, class action defense, labor and employment matters, trade secret claims, personal injury and wrongful death claims, and complex claims of business misconduct, fraud, and civil RICO liability. Ms. Nix has represented individual and corporate clients in banking and finance, energy, construction, real estate, and a variety of small business entities.

Ms. Nix was a Dean’s List graduate at Louisiana State University where she received her B.A. in Communications in 2010. She then attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where she graduated magna cum laude and earned her J.D. and Diploma in Comparative Law. Ms. Nix also received the Graduate Certificate in Energy Law and Policy and CALI Award for Excellence in International Petroleum Transactions.
