Biography
I have practiced Immigration Law since 1987. I have maintained an AV top rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1997. I have handled over 100 immigration cases in the 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 11th US Circuit Courts of Appeal, and have also successfully litigated in the US District Court in LA. My US Circuit Court and District cases have been cited hundreds of times in other published cases over the years.
I specialize in deportation cases (criminal as well as non-criminal) in Immigration Court in New Orleans and Oakdale, LA and in other jurisdictions; appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals; and litigation in the US 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. I also handle asylum cases, family-based petitions, green cards, and naturalization proceedings.
