Michael Scott Williams

Michael represents single employer and Taft-Hartley multiemployer benefit plan clients who have established and maintain broad-based retirement plans, group welfare plans, and fringe benefit arrangements for their rank-and-file employees as well as stock-based incentive plans, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, and other perquisites provided to executives.

Michael represents clients in tax controversies, and counseling individuals and businesses with respect to transactional tax matters. He also provides legal counsel to nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations regarding all aspects of their enterprise, such as tax matters and unrelated business income, intermediate sanctions and joint ventures, governance, foundations, endowment funds, charitable/planned giving programs, fundraising and collaborating with donors.
