Biography
Leo graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and received the Bankruptcy Medal of Excellence. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a starting wide receiver on the school’s Ivy League champion football team.
Upon graduating from law school, Leo clerked for The Honorable Margaret A. Mahoney, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Alabama. He then worked for several years in the Commercial Litigation department at a large New Orleans law firm before beginning his solo law practice. Currently, in addition to operating The Congeni Law Firm, Leo is affiliated with Emile L. Turner, Jr. in an of counsel capacity. Mr. Turner has practiced in the field of bankruptcy law for over 35 years.
Leo is licensed to practice in the State of Louisiana and has been admitted to the Federal District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
