Christine Theresa Changho Bruneau

Christine Changho Bruneau is a versatile litigator with over 27 years of wide-ranging experience. She focuses on complex civil litigation, primarily defense; but also handles will and successions/probate, contract negotiations and drafting, and corporate formation and dissolution. Chrissy has managed individual claims as well as large, demanding dockets of multi-party cases throughout Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. She has been involved in over 100 judge and jury trials in civil and criminal courts and argued successfully before the Louisiana Supreme Court. In 2022 she second-chaired a federal jury trial that resulted in a defense “zero verdict”.

Among her many professional and community activities, Chrissy founded the Louisiana Asian Pacific American Bar Association of which she was President until 2023. She was a founding member of the National Filipino Lawyers Association and served as its original Southwest Regional Governor from 2013-2016. As a long-time member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, she was a Convention Committee Local Co-Chair in 2015 and Litigation Committee Co-chair in 2016. She continues to serve the legal community as a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Diversity Committee.

Chrissy is a frequent speaker and panelist at Tulane, LSU, Loyola, and Southern University Law Schools. She has also presented to the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Louisiana, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Northshore Region Human Resource Association.
