Horrible experience. Stay Away!!!!!!!
I had a horrible experience with Robert Weimer. He bills for work that hasn't been done. Unresponsive and arrogant for no reason. If you leave a deposit He will find a way to keep it , it will always be a reason why you have no money LEFT IN TRUST. Stay Clear in my honest opinion.
This commenter chose to post anonymously. If they revealed their identity, I would be happy to review each time entry described in their invoices and provide documents in support that the time was spent. Of course I would eliminate any time entries that were incorrectly applied to their invoice. I pride myself on transparency in the billing process. Some clients are unhappy with the results of their legal matter and choose to then doubt the value an experienced attorney can provide them after the work has been expended. You'll note that majority of my clients do not share this view of my value.

DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY FOR DIVORCE
Robert Weimer represented me in the property settlement case after my divorce. Initially, I contacted the other partner in his firm. Upon arriving for my meeting, I was told I would be meeting with Robert Weimer instead; his rate was cheaper. The firm advertised family practice/divorce as a specialty...
It saddens me that this former client has divulged information covered under the attorney/client privilege regarding her case. Unfortunately, I am held to a higher standard and may not comment as to the facts of the case, our lengthy case strategy, nor my attempts to obtain information from my client and third parties, despite my desire to do so. I can not identify the mischaracterizations of the facts of her case, nor can I identify the Hearing Officer's options presented to her. I can say, however, that this former client entered into an agreement - a consent judgment - with the other party, settling all issues. She entered into this agreement against my recommendations. Had this former client felt the Hearing Officer incorrectly applied the law to the facts of her case, she had an opportunity to object to the Hearing Officer's recommendation, affording her an additional opportunity to have the Hearing Officer's recommendations reviewed by the district judge at a formal trial. Something she opted not to do. I must respect my client's decisions to settle cases, and, I must respect the attorney/client privilege by holding my tongue from explaining to you, the reader, my side of the story. That being said, I treat my clients with respect, return all communications timely, and do my best to present to my client all of their options. Sometimes, however, you cannot meet the unrealistic expectations that clients may have.
