Biography
I have been a long time resident of Hastings moving here in 1993 when my father Chris Johnson joined the law firm of Conway and Connolly. I met my wife Bailey while attending Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. I convinced her to leave Okoboji, Iowa and follow me to the Good Life where we were married in Lincoln in 2011. We moved back to Hastings when I joined Conway, Pauley & Johnson in 2013. We have three beautiful children, Harper, Finn and Mattie that enrich our lives.
I enjoy the practice of law and furthering my understanding of the many areas of practice. I strive to have a calming presence and occasional voice of reason for clients facing difficult situations in their lives. When I am away from the firm, Bailey and I share a passion for traveling the world and we look forward to instilling that passion in our children. I am a Husker fan to a fault, I also enjoy playing soccer, hiking in the Rocky Mountains and spending time with the many great friends we have made in Hastings.
My wife and I really enjoy living in the Hastings community. We are fortunate to be surrounded by a group of young professionals that share an eagerness to develop this city as an attractive place for professionals to raise a family while also marketing the many qualities Hastings has in store. Hastings allows me to give back and in that vein I deliver for Meals on Wheels, serve on the Board of Directors for the Hastings Public Schools Foundation and Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce, and I'm an active Rotarian and also volunteer at our church.
