Justin Aaron Sheldon

Justin Sheldon joined the firm in August of 2016. Originally from Lexington, Justin received his Bachelor Degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law.  While in law school, Justin was a Senior Certified Law Student with both the Entrepreneurship Clinic and the Civil Clinic. During his time in clinic Justin assisted clients with varying legal issues, including: business formation, intellectual property, custody modification, and wills.

Justin’s primary practice areas at The Jacobsen Orr Law Firm consist of general business, employment, wills and trusts, civil litigation, and criminal and juvenile litigation.

Justin’s practice also encompasses intellectual property, primarily in the areas of trademark and copyright protection. He has filed and obtained trademark protection for both businesses and charity organizations, and has dealt directly with the United States Trademark and Patent Office. His experience and prior dealings with the USPTO has enabled him to understand the intricate rules governing the process for protecting your organization's brand.
